From May 25 to Sep 3 timings are 8.00am till 6.00 pm from Monday till Saturday,and on Sunday timings are 12.00 to 6.00pm
From September 4 to May 24 timings are:
Monday to Friday 8.00 till 5.00 pm, & on Saturday from 9.00 till 4.00pm & on Sunday 1.00 till 4.00pm

Displays: The museum of geology displays fossils fuels, rocks and minerals. There are about 350,000 varieties, related to the fields of palaeontology, mineralogy. The collected work attributes mammalian fossils, marine and non-marine Jurassic and Cretaceous reptiles and mammals, and Black Hills pegmatite minerals. The Museum provides an active educational outreach program to schools and institutes. The Museum serves as a support to the Department as their staffs provides several museum and vertebrate palaeontology courses with practical experience through summer tours and one can work within the laboratories also. The Museum is an associate to The Journey Museum of Rapid City.
